Mars says I need one, so does anyone have an Ezy2Nurse pillow to sell me?

Please? DT's are 9 days old, and Marslady has v.kindly talked me through all the feeding malarky and suggested one of these pillows would really help. So if you've got one to sell pls let me know!

Yes I have one - hardly used as my twins were fast feeders and I have always fed them separately. It has the box, the instructions, the pump etc, everything it came with. I was going to put it on ebay, where they are going for about £25-30. You can have it for £25 if you want it

Congratulations by the way!! How rude of me, AQ. How are you getting on... what are their names. Mine are five months old now, can you believe it? They are wonderful. The first 12-13 weeks are hard esp when bfing, and it feels like such a long time when you are in the middle of it but once you are out the other side it is fab. And bfing is so easy once they get to about 12 weeks and are sleeping through (well, mine were, thanks to...shhh, whisper it... Gina Ford ).

Mine used to keep me up pretty much every night from 10pm till 4am in first three months which was so hard but you just have to be determined. Good luck!

Hi Neenz, 5 months already!! I don't know if I can get through another 12 weeks of this, can't look after my other two on 2 hours sleep a night. I do have the GF book, but couldn't really get my head round it. They seem to be falling into a routine during the day somewhat but not nighttime obviously.

I understand fully! I always felt there's no way I could have done it with other children to look after (or if I had had triplets!)

Forget abour GF for the moment... go back to it at about eight weeks old if you want to.

I used to express milk and my mum did one night feed a week for me. Lifesaver. When she wasn't there I would feed them at 10pm, go to bed and leave DH to look after them till 1am (they never slept at that time in first seven weeks). I would then get up and do the 1-4am shift. They usually went to sleep at about 4/5am!

Another thing I did was give bottles of ebm after their bath (6pm) which helped them settle in the evenings (they never slept then either). I always felt my milk was low in the evenings in the early days and I think that was why they wouldn't sleep. You need to rest as much as you can!

At seven weeks everything just got so much easier because they started to sleep after their 10pm feed and just wake up once in the night (4am) and sleep till 7am.

I also took them to an osteopath and found it to be really helpful with DS as he wouldn't settle after night feeds (needed to fall alseep on me)

All good advice, thanks Neenz. I'm giving them a bottle (sometimes two if it gets really bad) of formula at night, dp feeds one whilst I feed the other. But I'd prefer EBM, just haven't managed to get to the breastpump yet. Felix doesn't seem to agree with formula v.much.

Boy twin sleeps with me after his bathtime feed so I'm going to have to watch out for that but at the moment I'm giving in. They're actually doing pretty well, having a 3-4 hour sleep at least once during the night just often not at the same time so I thought I could tandem feed them at night in bed so at least I'm not so physically tired as I am when sitting in an armchair for hours. I certainly find I have to eat an absolutely enormous amount every day (and drink loads) for supply to be ok after the cluster evening feeds. And keep snacks for 3am too!

Oh yes, I used to have dried apricots and bananas next to the bed (great for fending off constipation as well as middle of the night hunger pangs) plus lots of water. But your baby weight will drop off!!

It is not 'giving in' - it is doing the best you can! I used to sometimes bring my twins downstairs to the lounge in the night cos they slept so well there during the day and at least then I could watch telly!

I thought I was doing 'all the wrong things' but you just do what you can to get through!

If you can just get the breast pump on for a few minutes each morning it will help build up your supply as well as providing ebm.
