My babies (triplets) used to wake up every 4 hours throughout the night for feeds continuing the daily routine. Over the last 2 weeks 2 of them were having to be woken up for their feed and as a result were not taking much. I tried following their lead and only fed those 2 when they awoke, with the other triplet still being fed every 4 hours as he woke up. This lasted 3 nights before all 3 decided to wake up every 3/3.5 hours during the night for their feed instead of 4 hours.
The triplet which has always gone 4 hours now will not settle after his 4am feed and lies awake fighting sleep and screaming until his next feed then sleeps soundly afterwards.
Any ideas what has happened? Why are they all waking up before 4 hours now and why won’t one of them settle after his 4am feed every time?
I should say they are chronologically 4 months old but 1 month corrected age. Thank you
