I have one of these (I'm a childminder)

I find up & down kerbs it's OK It's very light & the children like being in it

But It's a bugger to fold (at least mine is) & I get quite cross with it

I had 19mths between my first and second and loved my Phil & Ted, never had a problem getting it up and down kerbs and I have walking problems. Also found it easy to get on and off the bus etc.

I had twins a year ago and bought a side by side to get me through till they could use the P&T but I hated it, seemed unwieldy and constantly a struggle to get in and out of places.

I've also read quite a few bad reviews about the Twin Aria when I was looking at twin buggies.

I have a twin aria and i hate it. Its really hard to steer and although light, is hard work. I have just bought a maclaren twin techno and its so much easier to push. It is quite heavy to lift into car and getting it up curbs requires an almighty heave but its a great all-rounder - not sure would do your back any good though. i also have the out n about nipper which is brilliant in every way and is very very light and gets up curbs almost by itself. Quite heavy to lift into car (i think its a given for doubles) but the only thing i would say (and the reason i have just bought the mclaren) is that the seats are dipped and once your kids get to about a year, they can't see out well enough and so get frustrated. Other than that it's fab. x

i thought the pram would be a good job as its light and i was told in the shop that it was the most popular???

i like the phil and teds but dont like the thought of my new born being under neath

thank you all so much for your help
