Those poor twins who accidently got married

As a mother of girl/boy twins, there's a couple of things I don't quite understand about this unbelievably sad story

1. If they didn't know they were twins before they married how come they found out after?

1. Didn't they have the time of their birth on their birth certificates? Only multiple births show the time of birth, single births don't.

Feel desparately sorry for them though.

Yes... but of course if they were separated at birth the time on the birth cert wouldn't mean anything.

But ewwwwwwww the thought and I too am a mum of g/b DTs.
