Twins Doppler PI 95% but no action taken?

Hi guys,

Pregnant with twins, I've been having fortnightly scans as Twin 2 is small (3rd centile).

At my last scan, the bigger Twin 1 had dropped from 45th centile to 22nd on the GROW chart in just two weeks. The Dr said it's possibly just because they had overestimated before (which now I question because I've had SO many scans and Twin 1 has always been on 45th)

Anyway, I looked up my PI score from the Doppler scan once home. PI was 1.3 at 26+6 weeks. I've looked this up, and my understanding is that's the 95th centile which is not good!

However, nothing was mentioned about this. Everyone else with Doppler on the 95% seems to have close monitoring. I've just been told to come back at my next scan in a fortnight. High PI pressure could tie in with the potential sudden lack of growth of Twin 1. Should I be worried or query it?!

Hi @tilly2019, I don't know the answer but I can recommend a Facebook group called "MoDi & MoMo Twins: Monochorionics". There are some seriously knowledgeable admins on there who definitely will be able to help with this. It sounds like you might want some advice. I had one small twin (sIUGR) throughout my pregnancy.
