Just found out I'm having twins. It's early days. Excited! My daughters are 6 months old and 2 and my son is 6. I could really do much my last two pregnancies due to pelvic pain... a few days I actually couldn't walk!
Worried it will be much worse with twins.
I don't really have much help about me.
Any advice or experiences to share about .... twins and pregnancy... 5 kids under the age of 7... pelvic pain... organising all the madness.
Just thinking this morning what if they both have colic... what a bloody nightmare that would be haha.

Congratulations! You're either mad or very brave 😂😂

What sort of twins?

You are going to need help in the beginning, school run, nursery run etc. Is sure start in your area? Can you afford a mother's help? Have you got space for them all?

I've only got twins, I was on crutches from 21 weeks, had to leave work early. My SI joint collapsed but it was dodgy beforehand. They were born at 31 weeks so multiple daily hospital visits.

Not saying it to scare you but you need to put in place some kind of plan just in case. You may be great , pop them out and they just slot into your lives. Think about logistics, car, car seats, buggy, are you going to get a triple / double with a board etc?

Congrats 😀 is their father really hands on, as in changing nappies, night feeds, preparing food/drinks for you and DC?

As pp said, is the car suitable, your accommodation? Get and accept whatever help is available. Do as much prep before they arrive, as in cooking/prepping meals for the freezer etc.
