Come to the Stoke Newington Twins Club for twins, triplets and more!

We are a friendly group of mums who meet every Monday 10am-12pm in St Mary's Church Hall, Defoe Road, N16.

Come along, have a cuppa and chat with other mums of multiples. Everyone welcome - bumps, babies and toddlers. Siblings and singleton friends welcome too!

Tea, coffee, children's snacks and loads of toys.

£3.50 per family

HI - I came along this week for the first time actually! Which mummy were you? I was the new looking one with bewildered ten month olds, Moss and Vera. Hope my kids didn't scratch yours or give them flu

glamourbadger · 10/11/2007 10:15

I'm Geri who helped you out to the car. I've recently taken over the running of the group along with Fran (who fed your guys!). The previous generation are slowly moving on so it's great to see some new faces.

Come and see us again soon, have a coffee and a rant. No-one understands like another twin mum!

Hi Geri and Accordiongirl
Your posts are very good timing, as I have been meaning to try out your twins club for a while but Monday mornings are not the easiest time to get up and out!! May have another attempt tomorrow...! My twin girls are 7 months and I don't know many twin mums yet so would definitely be useful!

glamourbadger · 11/11/2007 12:24

Hi Susie - do join us! I really struggled to make it along when my girls were small but it was always worth the effort when I got there - even if it meant throwing a coat over my pyjamas . It really helped in the early days to meet mums going through the same experience, my friends with singletons never really understood what I was going through.

Look forward to seeing you - there are lots of twin mums on hand to feed and entertain your babies and easy parking for your giant buggy!

twins club gets my vote too. I used to go when my boys were tiny (they are 2 now), but agree that Monday morn is a difficult slot.

Have you moved to Bouvourie rd yet?

glamourbadger · 13/11/2007 09:34

Hi there. Everyone seems keen to move to the hall on Bouverie Rd so we are trying to sort it out. It won't be for a few weeks - I will let everyone know. We're also putting a website together to help people stay in touch so I'll post details here when it's live.

Hi everyone

Twins club certainly gets a double thumbs up from me too, it was a brilliant support !!
I did struggle with 10am on Mondays (and i only live around the corner!) but once there it was more than worth the massive effort of getting 3 people up and out of the house

Might show my face one day GB.... though my wee weapons are 4 in a few weeks (gulp) and really I should belong to the Highgate twins club.

Be lovely to meet the legendary Mars of lemon drizzle cake fame! If you ever want to drop by I have parking vouchers for the street which makes driving there a bit easier.

It's sad we've had to move but the church has hiked the rent up on the hall so much we can no longer afford to meet there. The Catholic church around the corner has very kindly offered us their space so thankfully the group can continue...

Glamour.... thank you for recommending me!

It's great to be able to recommend an antenatal class aimed at multiples in north London - I wish I had known about you when I was pregnant!
