Bump aches and pains - normal at 16 weeks?

I'm nearly 16 weeks with fraternal twins - sizeable bump already and the last few days the bump has been so achey with the odd painful twinge - just after reassurance really that this is normal?

I had stretching pains quite frequntly at around 17 weeks, with lots of bump expansion at the same time. Now at 28 weeks I feel very tender, like I’m bruised. Midwife said both are quite normal for twin pregnancies. The bruised feeling she said was skin struggling to keep up with the stretching.
