Am I having twins?I think I have symptoms

I've just found out I'm pregnant 3 days before my period was due. This must mean i have a lot of HcG. I'm also very sick, hormonal, my boobs have gone ridiculously big with dark nipples and I already seem to have put some weight on (not a bump or anything, just weight all over). Does this indicate twins?

I am now in my fifth week of pregnancy.

I dont think there are 'symtoms' of twins,

some people just have stronger symtoms in single pregnancies.

Not necessarily. I was like that with all of my babies, the singletons and the twins.

But if you do find out at your scan that it's twins come and join us on the d'y ever wonder threads.

I was the same with dd1. A few people said 'maybe you're having twins' but I wasn't.

Do you have a history of twins in your family?

Yes there's quite a history of twins. I'd be happy if I was having twins but money is very tight at the moment.

I didn't have those symptoms when I had my twins. I was very sick and exhausted (it seemed worse than with my single) - but nothing alerted me until the scan at 12 weeks !

I didn't have many pregnancy symptoms at all with my triplets. Never sick etc. I just sort of "knew" there was more than one baby in there. Didn't expect them to tell me there were 3 though!

I was very, very sick with the DTs (but also fairly sick with my first child). The only big difference for me was that my sickness started much earlier, almost straight away. Like menagerie, I had a strong feeling it was twins, nothing solid to go on, just a feeling.

It could definitely just been this pregnancy though! Keep us posted, I'm hooked

I have my first antenatal appt on Wednesday and then they're giving me a scan at 7 weeks due to pains. I'm like ridiculously excited about EVERYTHING!!!! I can't stop talking about it!! Thnaks every1. xx
