The wall of noise

Today is the culmination of 4 days of noise.

Twin girls are 3.5 and from 6.30 in the morning till bedtime they just do not stop. Bickering. Shouting. Questions. Demanding. Laughing. Asking for stuff. Telling us stuff.

Its not all bad noise but today has been particularly bad.

One will sit and be quiet if I'm cross enough but the other just will not do as she's told.

Any advice how to cope with it?

Sorry, not helpful. Mine are only 2.5 but I remember how my eldest was at 3.5 and I'm dreading it. Earplugs? Cbeebies/film for a set hour per day?

Not twins (pregnant with twins hence on this board!) but my eldest 2 are 3.5 and 4.5 have been exactly the same these past few days.

Deep breaths and time away from them a few times a week. I know exactly what you mean, mine are 5 soon and drive me insane on a daily basis!

toddlermumoftwo · 28/08/2017 20:46

Well I suppose I should be happy its not me not being able to control them.
I just don't know how they can go for so long without being quiet. How do they not do their own heads in?!

Earplugs it is then!
