Early scan 2 foetal poles 1 heart beat what the chances of the other getting a heartbeat?

Hi,
I had a scan at 6w 5d and they saw 1 sac, 1 foetal pole with a heart beat and another foetal pole with out a heart beat.
im wondering what the chances are of the other foetal pole having a heart beat at my next scan 2 weeks on?
Has anyone had a similar experience at all?
Any advice welcome.

I know this is years old... just wondered how it all
panned out! I am in a similar situation, but do have s 2nd heartbeat although much slower than the other!

I've been having regular scans due to previous loss! At 6 weeks 3 days, we went for our 1st US. Heartbeat found straight away and another sac was found but sonograher just wasn't sure what she was looking at. Went back a week later, baby was measuring right on track at 7+3 and a strong heartbeat (it was either 147 or 157) 2 more heartbeats found in the other sac although babies measuring over a week behind! Went back a week later to a consultant and heartbeats of twins now gone and no growth! Other baby looking good, heartbeat 179 And measuring 8 weeks 2 days, a day behind. Then i went for intralipid Infusion 2 days later and the clinic did another scan and measured only 8 weeks 3 days, heartbeat 180. Now spiralling as there was only 1 days growth in 2 days. Am I being completely irrational or does this Warrant worry? I know i shouldn't have had a scan 2 days after as it's brought more worry! The scan in the intralipid clinic was abdominal and i have a retroverted uterus but don't think she had issues with the view. All the other measurements were done transvaginally. I swear she also said the baby had it's hands in the air so there was moving about!! I am so full of anxiety... already planning my next egg retrieval as a method of coping! I know this is not healthy!
