Do I just have to grin and bear the constant bickering????

DTDs almost 6.

All I hear is

"she did ..."
"she said..."
"she isnt..."
"she's lying..."

I'm just frickin fed up of it...any tips??

no tips but plenty of sympathy, mine are 3 and I'm already getting 'she hit me/that's my toy/but mum.../I wanted that one' etc...

it aint just multiple births i got a five year old with attitude and a two year old who is having constant tantrums and when they get together its like world war 3 "mummy she hit me" "mummy she pulling my hair" i wish they would just play nicely!! i have started to just ignore them as much as i can unless they are really going for it then i intervene.

Interested in the advice cos mine do exactly the same...all I do is send them into different rooms for quiet time, and then make them apologise to each other..

It tends to work, but then when it starts up again, I ask, 'are you two arguing' and at times they say, 'no' and they cuddle and carry on nicely...

My TD's spend a long time in different rooms on weekends!

Its the idle tell tales too...

You have my sympathies! Its wearing isn't it. Its the thing that gets to me more than any of the other work involved in bringing up children. My DTs are 2.5 and DD is 6 and they each bicker and tell tales and it goes on and on and on.

I'm trying, trying not to shout but to have a consequence i.e. rooms or time out or, for DD, going to bed first is a massive threat.

The other thing that has made a big difference for me is.....atm I have been having work done in our kitchen/family room. All the toys have had to be shoved away in our dining room. All my children have had to play with is the cushions from our couch and their imagination. They have been playing together really quite well in the last week now that there is nothing to fight about. It seems to have taught them how to play together better. Worth a try. That said, I have to run, its kicking off again
