Anyone ever tried buggyboard/buggy combo with dts?

With all the hosp appointments etc the emmaljunga is causing headaches! Sometimes it will jsut not fit, and it is a nightmare to put up and down - it's mroe of a walking buggy.
I've tried walkign them on reins and that was hilarious. dt1 thought he'd pretend to be a dog and scoot off on all fours and then decided the only way to get round was to surf on his tummy while dd pulled him along by the reins. dt2 was fine until he spotted the BOB the BUilder ride where he wanted to sit and shout 'YES' for the rest of the day!
I do have singles for them and tried out a buggy board in mothercare. dt2 LOVED it, screamed and didn't want to come off! I'm very tempted but have visions of fighting over the buggyboard or running off fromt he buggyboard. 18mnths is still young really. Anyone tried it?

Mine were older when I used a single pushchair and a buggyboard. Up until then I used a side by side double buggy but it was hard going.

You're quite right, a single pushchair and a buggy board is loads easier, but at 18mths, they both might still want to sit.

There's this sort of thing which provides a little seat.

One thing I can guarantee as you have twins..they will either both want to be in the pushchair or both on the buggy board. The rows in the street we had about them both wanting the same thing just because the other one had it, were beyond belief.

Ah! FrumpyGrumpy...nice to see you. Yes, we're ok - dt's 5 soon and just started school. Things seem to be getting easier at last I am slumped - they have certainly got enough energy and questions to exhaust ten mummies.

I have so many things confiscated on high shelves because no-one can compromise. They have even been known to argue about a pebble Mostly they get on really well though and giggle together all the time.

How about you? I have lost touch with your thread - it's huge now!

Hi tinygang. I so know what you mean abotu the high shelves! Mine are getting full, and I was thinking that wall to wall high shelving would be a good idea.
I know at 18mnths thye will both want to sit sometimes, but maybe this will work jsut for those quick trips when I really don't want or can't haul out the emmaljunga. I guess I will jsut have to try it and see.

it was walk to school day today. I haven't had the dts all weekend so they have been in singles, but off we went today and they were back in the emmaljunga. rav was tearing chunks out of shay, pulling his hair and slapping him! I let shay out to walk, making a big fuss of him, which was fine for a bit. Then he fell in mud and refused to get out of the mud. SO back in he went and round 2 started. I'm going to have to try a buggyboard, I really don't want to buy a tandem.
