Present for mum of twins

I'm making a hamper for a friend of mine who is due twins soon. Can anyone suggest items to put in?

So far I have nice pjs for mum, creams, concealer (to hide those bags!) fennel tea for her supply...any other suggestions for her or babies?

I have twins, I did similar hamper for my friend containing stuff that I really wish I had in hospital. Breast pads , nice lip balm, that spray in dry shampoo, a little book to read to baby, small (huge) cadburys chocolate bar....

Ready meals for the freezer. A thermos so she can maybe just maybe have a hot drink occasionally. Swaddle-me things (off Amazon) for the twins. Life's too short to wrap two babies. More muslins. You can never have too many muslins.

Dry shampoo is a good one. If you're very wealthy Midnight Secret face cream and Clarin's Beauty Flash Balm. Both give the illusion of sleep.

Jellonet if she's thinking of breastfeeding. You don't get to give one boob a rest so they can get VERY sore.

Industrial quantities of chocolate if she is as tandem feeding melts calories (scientific fact).

I think I put in a pack of muslin squares because someone told me you can never have enough...they were so right!

Yes! Nipple cream, I put some of that in too (Lansinoh) SB is so right. Ooh those poor nipples, my toes are curling at the thought

Some nice soft washable breast pads - so much nicer next to the skin than the rustly disposables. I have Little Lamb bamboo ones and they're very soft, and come tied in a ribbon so will look nice in a hamper.

Also some posh cereal bars so she always has a healthy snack within reach.

Extra vests and babygros - I suspect you get through a lot with newborn twins!

Chocolate, wine, posh coffee, biscuits (to give to the endless stream of visitors). A babysitting voucher (for yourself) or a massage (I would have KILLED for one. But make sure it has a long date before it expires.) Maybe a bracelet or something to make her feel human again. I was in desperate need of hand cream and lip balm! The number of times my hands were in and out of water -sterilising etc.

A few babygros (in a bigger size that 0-3 months), a teether.

Cotton wool, baby shampoo, nappies etcetcetc.

Freezer meals is such a good idea!

Not even at the same time. A few weeks in even. Just do it.
Can't remember half the stuff we got, I remember the lovely dinners my sis brought.

Or soup too. YY to the cereal bars.

DVD box set for all the hours of feeding. Coupons to babysit/clean while mum takes a nap. Gift card for mum to get a mani/pedi while you babysit. Organise a meal train for her and give her a list of who is bringing food on which days. :)

I haven't had my twins yet, but with my DS I would have loved vouchers for a cleaner and a mobile hairdresser/beautician, and to have been brought some home-cooked meals. I second the recommendation for nice hand cream and lip balm, and maybe some really soft socks. Also a couple of posh little baby outfits in tiny sizes, as it's hard to justify the cost of buying them yourself, but most gifts I got were size 3-6 months.
