  • Fits in a suitcase
  • Not easy to buy in the US

Suggestions gratefully received! Thanks :)

Clothes are always a good gift. Next do lovely sets that are the same colours and different patterns. I dress my twin girls in these usually. I would get bigger sizes, 9-12 months for example.

I wouldn't bother with clothes to the US - my FIL brings nearly all my clothes over from the US from Old Navy and baby Gap and they are very cute (and cheap!). If you do go with clothes check if the mum dresses them the same or not!

How about personalised wooden rattles (one each!). One of my girls' favourite things when they were that age and still now they are 20mo was a glow worm - we used to wave them about with the music on to get them to sleep (now, thankfully they do it for themselves!)

What about something to do with the UK? Happy land do a Great Britain set. Or have a look on Great Little Trading Company here

Or books? Was The Gruffalo a hit in the states? Tesco and Asda have a deal on Julia Donaldson and Axel Schlaeffer books at the mo.
