triplets and parties advice for a guest please

dd3 has been invited to a party for triplets. The two boys are in her class and the girl is in the other y3 class. She is closer to the girl and I think the invite is mainly from girl.
Just wondering what to do about cards and presents.
I was going to give each child a card and box of malteasers, and give a unisex toy to share.
Does that sounds okay?

Everyone has different opinions about this. I have personally asked friends and family not to give combined gifts as they are two separate children. You wouldn't give siblings of a different ages one birthday present to share so I think the same should go for twins. Plus they probably have different interests too and wont necessarily to interested in the same one present.

I would just get a present for the girl, as she is your DD's friend. If they were all good friends, then I'd get a £5-10 present each.

If the invite is signed from all three then either a small present each or a present that is designed to be shared (e.g. board game).

My sister and I are different ages but often received joint xmas pressies. Don't recall any issues with it.

Maybe a bit late but can you ask their mother? I know I don't prefer to have 3 bits of tat for my DTrips. I usually ask to give one present to whichever child has invited them or to give one thing they can share.

Mine like having a card addressed to them, so definitely a card each?
It depends what your budget is really? And what you normally would spend on DD's friends?
For example, if you would normally spend £10 on a present for one friend, and only want to spend that on all 3 children, (bearing in mind your DD is closest to their DD) I would spend £5 on girl and £5 on the boys.
