Well, we are going on our first family holiday on Saturday. Flying Ryanair to Germany for the Christmas Markets.

Am expecting the worst re; the boys on the flight, at the airport etc. Then if it goes well I'll enjoy it more! I think!

Well, been and come back and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

The only bad experience was on the decent during the flight back. Dts2 wouldn't take his cup (our attempt at the sucking action for the ears!) so suffered as a result.

The best thing is DH now realises how exhausting it is to be around them all day every day and I am hoping he appreciates me a bit more! (I think he still believed my days exist sitting and watching tv enjoying myself - ha!)

Glad you had a good time !!! The flight is just about the worst bit, we always planned our trips so we were never on a flight for more than about 2 hous or so.Also, we usually went away for two-three weeks,because if your going to do all that organisation and planning, you may as well stay for longer.
We travelled quite alot with the boys, especially before they were 2yo so that we did not have to pay for them !!! Now you've done it once it will be plain sailing from now on !!
