I just gave birth to two beautiful babies, Evelyn and Juliette. They're amazing and I'm loving parenthood so far! Is there anything I've to expect? Besides from lack of sleep?

Oh and I'm 16 years old.

Welcome to parenthood! How old are the girls now?

To tell you what to expect would take forever but I've been kept on my toes constantly by just one child for the last 16 months.

If you are 16, I hope you've got a really good support network. I don't think age has much to do with whether you are a good parent or not, but if you haven't had the chance to get some money behind you in your career, that can be tough. I hope you have lots of people to help.

Anyway, congratulations! I'm sure your twins will cause you masses of excitement, pride and everything else from here on. They have beautiful names and you sound very happy!

Lovely, lovely names. Absolutely thrilled for you! You seem very confident and positive at the moment, which is brilliant; when you're a mother it's really important you stay positive - it can have a real effect on how your kids turn out. I remember after my fourth I was fed up of having bloody kids, and I realised that this attitude was having a detrimental effect on the social development of my children. I felt so bloody ashamed. So my husband and I pulled ourselves together, lightened up, got ourselves out of that hole, and eventually made ourselves four more babies! Which nearly killed me, but I don't regret any of it Smile My husband says he does, but screw him.

Twins demand TONNES of attention so I'd be prepared for that. Also try and just get all the support and advice you possibly can. Because at times, the going gets tough. Good luck!
