Book for preggers with twins!

Hi all, just found out I am expecting ID twins. Excited, scared.... but mostly excited. I am sure I will be turning to Mumsnet all the time and will probably be posting on here all the time as well!
However, I know it is not everyone's approach but when I was pregnant with DD I have one of the usual 'pregnancy books' and I did find it useful and reassuring at times. I want to get something for twin pregnancies - shops have NOTHING so have turned to Amazon - but dont want anything to medical, too preachy and I want one written from a UK perspective (American books are to different to be useful I find).

Can anyone recommend one? I would be ever so grateful.

Thank you thank you.

I'm afraid I didn't find anything that matched your criteria. The only one you may enjoy reading is Double Trouble (I think that's the title) by Emma Mahoney. You may find her views on medical intervention and home birth a bit extreme and she obviously lives in a rather different world to most people I know. And her grasp of statistics is shaky. But at least she says having twins is a good thing unlike most of the stuff I read... And you're right - the American stuff is bizarre!

Congratulations! Get yoursekf a copy of 'twins, and how to survive them' it's written by a british woman and its very good. He has twins and is a twin herself. Some really useful advice in it :)

I liked this book for info on parenting twins at all ages. I had a book about pregnancy too, but it wasn't specific to twins.

Congratulations Grin

Hi, I came on to say that I really enjoyed the Double Trouble book mentioned earlier. Have you joined TAMBA? It sounds like your singleton preg book plus some of the guides produced by them (and Mumsnet) might be enough for you.
