Have ordered this organic baby hair product - will tell you if it works!

I've just spent ages reading the threads about mixed-race baby hair care. Very useful, thankyou. I was going to go for the Motions stuff but really wanted something organic if possible.

Someone mentioned this site which is a US site but I found a place which sells the baby stuff here www.tresses2die4.co.uk

I've gone for the "Itsy Bitsy Spirals Baby Curl Moisturizer" (you have to type that into their search box for some reason, it doesn't come up with the other It's A Curl products) and have also ordered one of those "Tangle Teezer" things which was on Dragon's Den because there were good reviews on Ciao and DooYoo.

I'm envisioning a minor miracle and that the two together will make this hair-brushing affair much less painful for DD AND me. I'll let you know if it works!

Some great looking stuff on that site but a bit expensive. Let us know what its like though as a little does go a long way. You have just reminded me about the tangle teezer though, Ive been meaning to get one of these for DD for ages!

The issue I have is finding one product that is suitable for both my kids(carribean/ white mix....both have very different hair types). I bought Kids of Colour from www.ofcolour.co.uk (my African friend also found it www.littlegreentots.com) I found that it was not overly oily and worked well on BOTH my kids hair!!! For the little one that had ringlet type curl I bought the wax which I use whenever we curl definition is needed.

I use of Colour on DD, and we love it been using it for a few months now, like Proudmum02 said just enough oil to do the trick! I also saw some fab t-shirts on there to which made me giggle which i will definitly be getting DD very soon!
