Something New - An American film

I was wondering if anybody has seen this film which stars Sanna Lathan who I absolutely adored in Disappearing Acts, an adaption of Terry McMillan's book?

It is about an Alpha black woman and her relationship with a white professional and the hesitations, uncertainty and tangible racial problems that they face as they embark on their relationship.

It has received rave reviews on the American Amazon website (over 100). Thought I might rent it and see if it lives up to the hype.

Haven't seen it, but love Saana Lathan...might be worth a watch

She was great in Love and Basketball too!

I saw it and was very disappointed. The leads were great, but the story was a bit lame. Was expecting a bit more humour as well.
