When did your baby’s hair curl?

Hi Im new to this forum I found an old thread but wanted to post a new one. As the title says... so i have a 10month old mixed baby boy ( white and half black - jamaican) he was born with black straight hair. Now its gone dark brown. Still straight. It get a bit curly when he is sweating and some parts (back of hair and front) look like they are going to curl but next day they look straight again. Anyone got an experience or knows when or if his hair is likely to curl? I know some babies get their curls at around 6 months. But so far his hair just looks like it will curl and then its straight again.

Hi my daughter is mixed race also, her hair didn't really curl properly until she was about one. Not sure if this is going to help but just someone else's view she now has very curly hair but up until she was one it was straight and only really curled when wet or at the ends...

My son is mixed race and he had very straight hair as a baby. It's gone really curly. Started curling up at about a year old, really soft curls. It's now lovely thick curls, although he's not always very keen on it!

Dd went the other way. She had tight curls but now has long wavy bushy hair. I think of it as Hermione Granger hair.

hi my DS & DD were both born with straight black hair, I am mixed with tight curly hair and my husband is white with loose curly hair, I have black hair he has dark brown.

DS hair fell out about 3 months and his lovely tight curls started to grow at 6 months DD my husband shaved her hair at 6 months and her curls grow through about 8 months. Both now have nice tight curls medium brown with goldy bits going through but both have slightly different textures
