Hi I live in Greenford(near Sudbury Hill). My family do not live nearby nor do any friends. I would love to meet/chat any mums in the area. I have DS 20mths and DD 3 yrs.

Hi bdey3, so sorry you have no one to chat to, you can always post on mumsnet when you need a chat. Have you asked your health visitor about parent and toddler groups. You could also phone the council as they will have lists of thing going on in the area.

Thanks helbel, but already tried... nothing within walking distance.

Hi bd, there is a playgroup at the Boots Wellbeing centre - you don't need to be a memeber of the gym - I've heard good things about it but not been myself. That should be in walking distance for you. Good luck.

Hi Bdey

I do hope you have made some new friends by now! I understand why you'd want to meet other Indian mums but I do hope that you will widen the net and meet all sorts - that's the way to get less lonely of course! I hope you don't mind me saying that as only wanting to wish you well.

It's hard moving to a new area so hope you are settling in!
