dt1 has taken all the indian genes and is quite dark skinned and has very dark, almost black hair and is now sprouting a lovely moustache at only 20 months old! It's really noticeable, especially when he gets all snotty nosed . I'm jsut wondering, is it likely to fade, or will I have to get the gilette mach 3 out before he turns 2?!
I'm not bothered by it, but I am a bit worried about when he gets old enough to notice.

Hi my ds 17months is half Indian and has a little tache too. As his hair is mid brown and body hair quite golden it isn't too bad but I still worry he will get grief at school!

No solutions I'm afraid - just that your ds isn't alone in being a hairy toddler.

You should have seen my son's sideys when he was born - he did have very dark hair then and boy was he hairy

dt2 was very hairy when born too, looked like a little baby monkey, I thought it was cute. He had a very hairy back, which thankfully has eased off to a soft down. I've trimmed his sideburns and he has whiter patches there now, where he didnt tan in the summer!
poor dt2's is very dark, so it's quite obvious.

dt1 even! dt2 is actually a lot fairer, brown hair and jsut a slight tanned complexion.

My ds2 (all Indian) is also quite hairy, especially his upper arms - I'm just glad he's a boy. When ds1 was around 18mths by db pointed out with fascination that he had a moustache. That is much less noticeable now that he is nearly 5.

Oooh so there is hope! Really hope it does fade a little bit.
