Cantonese Play Group

Hi there,

My DD will be starting Chinese School in September this year (Greenwich Chinese School). She is 4 years old and can't speak any Cantonese but I haven't been encouraging her as my Cantonese is appalling and my husband is English.

I am keen for her (and me) to start practising/learning before she starts so was thinking of starting a Cantonese Play Group and hiring a tutor for the group.

I live in Peckham, near Burgess Park, so happy to have them in my house or I could look to hire a place that would be mutually convenient for everyone.

Let me know if you would be interested or we could meet as Play Dates instead. Happy to consider different options.

Hi, you could try some of the PlayCantonese playgroups - there's more information on www.playcantonese.com.

Hi, I'm Cantonese and my husband is English. Our daughter is going to be 3 years old in December. Would be lovely to meet up with some Cantonese speaking mummies and toddlers so she can enjoy speaking Cantonese! But we live in SW18 near Wandsworth Common, not very near where you live. (BTW, my daughter speaks Cantonese but her English is better, especially now she goes to nursery school. It will be great for children to speak Cantonese to each other and they will enjoy more)
