English woman married to a Turkish Muslim - any ladies out there in a similar boat?

Hi all... I'm brand new on mumsnet (and pretty much brand new to motherhood, too - my DD is 8 months old today!!!). I'm just wondering if there are any English women who are married to a Turkish/Muslim man that'd be interested in getting in touch? I have one or two close friends - neither are Muslims, one lives up North and the other doesn't want a family of her own and isn't really big on kids (except mine of course!!!). My DH has 5 sisters, but I don't really have anyone who is in the same kind of situation as me, which is a bit of a bummer - I'd love to be able to talk to someone who I can relate to and vice versa. Anyhoo... I thought I'd chance my luck. Fingers crossed!! Blush

Hi

I am British married to an Egyptian Muslim. We are also currently living in Egypt. We have a 4 yr old DD and a 10 month old DS.

pinkmagic would you mind if I PMed you too? I love Egypt and my DH but sometimes feel like I am living in a parallel dimension. Confused Would love to hear others' experiences.
