Jamaican Heritage - London/Herts - Groups/Classes etc? for a boy of 5

Hi there,

I separated from my son's father two years ago and am now worried that he is not getting enough info/awareness about the other side of his heritage.

His father is not interested in his Jamaican background [first generation British born] as he identifies with American culture more, but my son was fascinated by a recent school project on Mary Seacole and felt very proud that she came from the same country as his grandfather.

I'd love to give him more exposure to his history rather than just the books we have been reading and wondered if anyone knows of any children's groups or classes even that run in London or Hertfordshire that he could get involved in.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
