DP is a student. Was supposed to start work in six weeks as a graduate, but the company has pulled out and say they won't take him.

How much do I have to earn to no longer get HB?

We already get it (long story) and the only my working options that will physically fit into our lives (again long story) won't be very well paid. I've got no probs taking a low paid job to help us out till DP finds a job but since there aren't any jobs I can do that will cover our (modest I promise) living costs locally I need to make sure the HB stays intact.

I think hb is means tested so you get different amounts depending on what you earn. Do you get tax credits - working and child?

We only get the child part. (since neither of us are working atm) We currently get full HB.

What I need to know is the cut-off for earnings so that you no longer qualify for the full hb. (or enough to get by...)
