I feel sick with fear today seeing the news on breakfast that tax credits will be cut for families potentially earning only 35k. We earn just over that and just get by in terms of paying for childcare, no luxuries not even a car. This will mean my DH will have to go part time in evenings as he has lower income and we will have very little time together as we may no longer be able to afford much in the way of childcare and cannot rely on relatives. Does anyone else have that same sinking feeling? Is it inevitable and what do the government think they are achieving by potentially forcing many people out of their jobs.
