Eeeek have neglected to defer student loan

and they've taken payment out of my very empty account.

we moved house a fortnight before i gave birth (3 weeks early) and forgot to update them with my change of address, so have completely forgotten to defer payment, i don;t earn enough to have to repay it yet, and am currently in the last 3 unpaid months of maternity leave.

i'll call them first thing but has anyone ever managed to get £ back from them or can i forget all about getting it back?

They are typically very hard to deal with and play the government money high horse.
Contact them as soon as possible and defer it.

bugger am so stupid, i remembered to tell everyone about the change of address apart from them. that'll teach me
