BoE base rate - any forewarnings of increases?

Since Skipton increased its SVR we have to find a new mortgage deal and are looking at a tracker or fixed. Altho the tracker looks very good we're a bit concerned about rates going up.

Have people been talking up possible base rate increases any time soon?

Not if but when seems to be the consensus in the Telegraph. However, to me the rates seem low anyway as I can remember having a 10.8 fix at one point and that was a bloody good rate at the time.
