Asking accountant to do tax return - what do I need to show him?

I have my invoices and worked out how much I earned - is that enough?

You should also include a list of your work-related expenses, i.e travel, phone, equipment, supplies - and that you have receipts for. These can all be deducted so well worth doing.

There are other things too to include (pensions? savings?) that unfortunately don't spring to mind at this late hour but if you do a search on here you're bound to find more info as I've seen some good threads about this issue before.
