and if so - when will I get my child benefit payment??

Just been sitting working out how to shunt money back/forward (as you do just before Christmas) and I've realised my next CB is due on the 28th.......but isn't that a bank holiday this year??

Will they pay it later in the week or what

You'll get it on the 24th. Yes, 28th is a bank holiday.

don't they usually try to pay it before christmas if it falls just after

I think if I remember the notice rightly, it goes in on 24th. there is a sigh up in our local post office.

oh good - that's what I was hoping you'd say (early rather than late)

thanks

I'm sure with 9yrs having been getting CB I must have had some that fell on bank holidays - but never really paid attention to what happens lol

It is a bank holiday as boxing day falls on a saturday this year. It should go in on the last working day before the BH.
