How much does car insurance go down by once you have a year's worth of no claims?

Does anyone have any idea?

Any thoughts? Was it 5%? 10%? 50%? [hopeful]

Pleeeease answer me?

I know I could go do price comparison but it's not actually due til January and I don't want the insurance companies to keep phoning me like they did last time.

Any little anecdote will do.

Have you looked at your car insurance paperwork? Im sure that my insurance documents have a table that shows what the percentage reduction is for each year of no claims bonus.

Oooh, really? That would be useful. Will go look. You clearly have a useful and friendly insirance company

Do the price comparison websites and put in fake contact details.

bigstripeytiger · 22/11/2009 12:31

Not sure about that. I have had to make a claim this year, and Im not very impressed with them so far!
I had a quick look on the internet and it looks like around 30% might be what you would expect for 1st year NCB.

Can't find any info in our documentation, shame.
