Is there any way to get a free overdraft for a couple of days?

We'll be about £2000 overdrawn for a maximum of 3 days due to problems with friends paying a sum of money that they owe us and a big bill about to go out.

We never use our overdraft.

Is there any way to get a bank to waive the overdraft fees? (Lloyds TSB Gold account in case it makes a difference)

Ask them, our overdraft comes and goes every few months so never costs us much at all, pennies almost.
