Can someone who is bankrupt be in shared control of a trust fund?

Basically, ex P may well end up bankrupt, he has huge debts and his job is going. We have a trust fund for ds and have both our names on it.

If he is declared bankrupt is he still allowed to be in control of the trust fund?
