How on earth can someone who doesn't have a bank account already and is homeless and isdue to receive some money soon, meant to claim their money? They can't open an account without an address and to go to a cash chequeing place they need a bill or letter dated within the last 8 weeks!

Some homeless shelters will act as addresses in this case. Call your local council housing office and ask them for advice.
