Easy mistake for them to make

That reminds me, they recently paid me almost £400 unexpectedly, and I want to speak to a human to check it is not a error.

Glad it is sorted!

glad yours was a mistake. Came to look for advice on here as checked my account yesterday to find a tax credit payment of over £2500, bloody hell, i'm rich! But it must be wrong as i was only getting £42 a month before. Any advice? I'm sure they'll want it back.

nikki1978 · 01/09/2009 07:38

Thrifty if they have done it it is probably right. Call them and find out why. Has your income decreased in the last two years?

nikki1978 · 01/09/2009 07:39

I had a payment of £1800 once as we ended up earning less that year than we had stated

thrifty · 01/09/2009 08:19

yes, i'm self employed and my costs were high last year, so my profit was estimated low. However, this year my profit will be back up, will they want it back next year?
