Help with housing association

If you can please help me im slightly confused between these. i have put my name on the register with the council for a property as i have no where to live and 30 weeks pregnant, (i recently split up with my ex partner) the council have told me i could wait 2 years which is no good to me. they said i could go into a hostel in the meantime but obviously i dont want that.

Someone mentioned to me about the housing association and getting a house with them, could someone please exlain how this works and how would i go about it please?

my situation is not any way as bad as yours.i realy feel for you.i am in ha property in north london and dd is 10 nearly 11 and developing ds is 20mth and in with me and dh i have had pnd and the lack of sleep from sharing is driving me insane,i am down for exchange with various places and was wondering what age is it that sibling of opposite sex are unable to share, and any other tips please.sorry for hijacking

I always thought it was around the 10 year age.
Didnt read all thread so sorry if repeating. Sleep deprivation is quite serious and any help from your doctor can help your case. Speak to Dr and try and get a letter sent to HA.
