Have my tax credit forms to fill in and I am unsure whether DLA is declared in that box? Thanks

No, DLA is not an income you have to declare, taxable benefits include long term Incapacity Benefit, Contributions-Based JSA & ESA, Carer's Allowance, etc.

DLA is not taxable as far as I know.

(Carers Allowance is taxable although you have to obv be earning more money from elsewhere or it would be covered by your personal allowance anyway.)
