Yep. Dull I know.

We've had our renewal quote and it's not bad but we could get cheaper. But we've been with this company for years and they've been good. Is it worth saving £60 and going with someone untried?

Why not ask your current insurer if they can match or even beat the cheaper offer?

I always shop around - you will almost always get insurance cheaper with a new company. I use a couple of the comparison websites so there's usually not a lot of faffing about if you do it online. If you go through Quidco or any of the other cashback sites, you could get some money back too.

Thanks.

I used confused.com. But I will ask our current insurers if they can offer us a better deal.
