Does anyone have a Tesco credit card?

I'm looking for a new credit card, and as I do my weekly shop at Tesco I thought I might get one from there. I have heard that you can get more points from it. Does anyone have one, and if so - is it any good?

I have one, they are much the same as any other credit card.

With the new cards you get now the clubcard points aren't that attractive - I think you get 1 point for every £4 spend outside tesco, so with the normal clubcard points that 5 points for every £4 spend at tesco.
But better than a card with no loyalty points or cashback.

We have had one for years and we wouldn't change it!

We use the clubcard deals on-line NEVER in store. If you had £10 clubcard voucher and you use it in a tesco supermarket you get £10 off your shopping.

If you use that same £10 clubcard voucher on their deals you get 4 times the face value so £40.

I buy my annual £200 RAC cover with them, so it costs me £50 in clubcard vouchers, we use it for 2 day breaks in hotels and for days out to places like Alton Towers or Warwick Castle, magazine subscriptions, eating out in nice places with our boys etc etc.

You get more points using it in a tesco supermarket than elsewhere but you can also use it for Tesco Direct home stuff so we always do very well on the deals front.

I don't even shop in tesco but it is still well worth my while.

Pop onto their website and have a look at what you can spend your clubcard vouchers on

www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

look at the list on the left had side to see how many different things you can do/spend them on.

I earn about £900-1200 of deals tokens per year with mine!....so yes I think it is great, although as has been said the newer cards aren't quite as lucrative - but I don't think they are bad.

We put all of our monthly spend on it and pay off rigerously.

i have one too that i use for everything

(and have a direcr debit set up that pays the whole amount each month)

am saving up my vouchers as you can get some great deals, esp when used not in store!

Yes we use ours all the time and pay it off every month.

They have also been really good at contacting us twice when our details were taken by someone who started spending on it. They knew that the charges were not the usual type we use and so called to check. They also called when we bought something out of the ordinary to confirm it was us.

Definately recommend them and love using the vouchers.

We have the older card ( when it was purple with the big sunflower on) so get the better deal on points although not entirely sure what it is now!

We use the Tesco CCard for all day to day expenses then pay it off in full each month, you can really rack up the points quite fast. Also use it to pay for holidays and large things like that, and again pay it straight off.
