when should i expect my child benefit to go in?????

Last month it went in the 16th so this month should be 13th (it's 4 weekly) but monday is bank holiday. Does anyone know when I should get it? I have £27 in the bank until the child benefit goes in and we need to eat!

Mine goes in on a different date every month! It was the 18th in Feb and the 3rd in March. I never know when it will be there, and have spent it by mistake before i even realise it !
Might be worth emailing them to find out, or go into the bank and ask them to check the pay ins. Sorry I can't be of more help

mine is due in on monday too, and someone told me today that it should therefore go in tomorrow or saturday due to the bank holidays.

oh bonneville - that would be fab if it goes in tomorrow - will be able to buy easter eggs and food and be able to pay council tax too !!!

If the day it is due falls on a bank holiday, it is paid in on the first working day before that date which in this case will be thurs, as friday is a bank hol too.

FAQ mine said it's due in w/c 20th april but that's 5 weeks since the last payment .....aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhh

Blushing - something seems wrong there. They never make anyone wait 5 weeks. I would query it.

Just checked the bank online and my last CHB payment was 16th March. Before that it was 16th Feb and before that 19th Jan

hmm something definitel sounds wrong there, my next payment is due w/c 20th April (both according to my calculations and the link I gave) and my last payment was the 23rd March...
