My car got torched, can I cancel my policy?

My car got torched last night, was only insured third party only as a real old banger.

My insurance policy has until November to run, does anyone know if I can cancel the insurance or do I need to keep it until Nov?

TIA

You cant cancel it if you claim on the policy.

I can't claim as it wasn't cover for fire and theft.
Basically was only insured if I hit someone else.

Yes you can, but they'll probably charge you a cancellation fee. Somewhere in the region of £15-£25

Sorry to hear about your car btw.

Thanks, am gutted, had it for years, great wee runner.
Don't mind cancellation fee, better than paying for a car I haven't got!
