I work in this field and wouldn't use an online service. Your best bet is to use your solicitor.

Can I ask why?

Oh, can I ask why too, Magna?
I bought a HIP online on Monday. I've just had a visit from someone doing our energy performance rating. She said the EP report will be with us (online) tomorrow. The searches will obviously take a bit longer.

I wont recommend them just yet ishe, as we havent got the complete HIP yet, but it all seems ok so far. (Hope I'm not tempting fate here.)

The estate agents we got to value the house all said they could arrange but were charging £300+. I paid about £180.

Hi unavailable, was wondering if you would reveal who your online HIP provider is now? I cannot bear to part with almost £300 to get a solicitor to do it but want to get a recommendation for an online one ...
Many thanks
