Aagh, microwave not working. Bought from Empire direct. What are my chances of getting a refund/replacement?

I placed the order on the 7th of march last year. It didn't arrive till 2 weeks later, i have an email saying that the lead time on it was 1-2 weeks, but can't prove exactly when it arrived.

I have contacted the manufacturer, but I'm not very hopeful.

What do you think my chances are?

They have gone bust, but I think after a certain amount of time they would just direct you to the manufacturer anyway?
