best place to sell gold ring?

any recommended trusted dealers (london?) to sell unwanted gold ring - it was bought for about £500 from a high street jewellers. hallmarked etc.

You may find you will get scrap value for it.
The price for gold is quite good at the moment so you could get about £30 (or less!)Lots of dealers won't buy the ring to resell - they just want scrap.
