Speeding question please

A friend of a friend has just been stopped for speeding, doing 101mph on the dual carriageway fof the A3

Can anyone tell me what her ban and fine will be please?

ISTR that 6 points is enough to ban a new driver (< 2 years, I think).

What time of day was it? That may help if it was the dead of night and no-one was around.

I got done for 100.3 at 1.30 in the morning on a deserted M62 about 13 years ago.

I knew it should be an automatic ban, so plead guilty, went to court, was suitably contrite and got away with 3 points and £120 fine.

I actually took the train to Rochdale (where the court was) from Bolton (where I lived - althoguh I worked in Hull), just in case I was banned!

I know I go off lightly. I'm now very good!
