OK, I know its due in tomorrow, but need some tax return help

I was filling mine in online, but had a piece of info missing. When i started filling it in (on the 16th)I had to get a new password sent through by email. I used this passowrd plus my user ID to try and log in today to finish filling it in (I needed some info from ym emplyers as I ahd lost myP60), however it won't recognise the password, I asked for a new one by email but it still ahsn't arrived, since this morning. Any suggestions please?

Have you re-requested a new password Saltire?

I had a similar prob last week and a new password was generated instantly into my hotmail account when I went into the 'lost password'part of the website and requested one.

call them and tell them situation and get a record of the person you spoke to etc, they may give you some leeway given they were unable to send you a password in time.

Definately call them - i found them very helpful on the phone when i was having problems.

If you can pay the tax today you won't get a fine even if the return is late.

OK the password finally came through at 03.46 this morning. I didn't stay up to wait for it!

DH has done his and apparently neds to pay £250 on his, still not sure how they ahve reached this figure but never mind, he needs to go online to pay this today doesn't he? or can he wait until Monday and pay it at the PO?
