Quick post as in a hurry.
If you have savings in UK Post Office they are guaranteed until SEPT 2010 by the Irish Government.
However,Ireland is in a terrible state at the moment and The IMF is meeting in April to discuss whether Ireland is bankrupt and whether or not they will take over Ireland [like they have Iceland].
I do not know how this would affect those who have Post Office savings as I do not know if the IMF would guarantee savings.
Just wanted to draw peoples attention to it.
